One thing I fail to understand is what difference the bengali new year makes to our(bengali's) life...I mean we any how consider Jan 1st as the start of the year and in most cases 1st April as start of financial year... apart from wearing new dress and rejoicing by singing songs etc ..I don't think its anything other than just a date....I guess same goes for rest of the communities like South Indians etc too..they also apart from celebrating that day doesn't consider it as a start of a new year.

The first thing i want to say to 'Day dreamer'that it depends man to man.Actually there is no difference what we r calling our mother.it may be ma/mother/mom/etc.but mother is mother.so,how we do behave with Her it depends.
